Two girls teaming up and a sound which travels time and space to evolve are the ingredients to this song and video for Gato Preto' s new single Soundgals.
Second dope Soundgal, beside Gata Misteriosa of Gato Preto, is Meli Wharton. Having Caribbean and British roots her flow and incredible voice are the perfect fit to this song.
For their new video Gato Preto goes new directions and are exploring ways to visualize their Music. They worked with artist Sebastian Kalitzki aka Barto who tried a very new approach: the whole video was made out of coloured paper and paperboard which he animated with stopmotion. Incredible isnt it? The viewer dives deep into a world of colour and fast moving objects / faces driven by the bouncing beat of the track.
